Firm Update: Team Changes at J2 Capital Management

As such, we wanted to update you on some exciting team changes that will allow us to continue to provide you with unparalleled service and solutions to your financial needs.
Lisa’s New Role
If you work with us, then you’ve no doubt experienced Lisa’s care, efficiency, and ability to handle anything thrown her way. While you will no longer be greeted by Lisa’s smile at our Troy, Michigan, location, Lisa will still be an integral part of our firm as she moves to Florida to serve our clients as Client Service Coordinator at our Cape Coral location.
Lisa and her husband have been dreaming about moving to Fort Myers, Florida (Cape Coral’s sister city), for many years. Our Florida location launched in 2020 and has had a fantastic reception, growing a strong client base. We felt it was the perfect time for Lisa to relocate to Florida so she can lend her incredible skills to our clients and team there.
Lisa has been on our team since its inception and will be greatly missed in Michigan! She’s enjoyed the opportunity to be part of our clients’ lives and watch their families grow and experience financial success. She’s excited to enjoy the fruit of her hard work while she’s in the prime of her life—staying active in the year-round warm weather by playing golf, pickleball, and enjoying Florida’s iconic beaches, sunrises, and sunsets.
Thankfully, our clients in Troy will be in good hands as Lisa’s daughter, Amy, will be taking over her role!
Welcome, Amy!
Amy Gideon has a diverse background and has spent many years moving around the United States while her husband, Wes, served in the military. Amy graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She started her career at Child Protective Services in El Paso, TX, but frequent moves and the addition of three wonderful children into their family pushed pause on her career. As her children, Aiden, Eli, and Avery, are now older and her husband has settled into a role as Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve, it is the perfect time for her to rejoin the workforce.
Amy also has experience working as a substitute teacher and a staff member at her local church. She’s ready to take on this new role and serve J2’s clients with the same heart and work ethic her mom brought to the job.
When she’s not working, you can find Amy enjoying her family, exercising, or spending exorbitant amounts of time at the ball field supporting her son who plays travel baseball.
